Round in shape, with tightly packed layers of leaves, white cabbage is the most common of the cabbages. They can vary in colour from very white to mid green, although the inner leaves are usually pale.
Our cabbages are harvested once the leaves become compacted firm, heavy for the size, free of insects and decay, Leaves are crisp and turgid.
The early crop cabbges can be stored in a cool dry area for 3 - 6 weeks.
